Bulldogs fall in Belgrade

BELGRADE — Bailey Christensen tallied 20 kills, and Taylor Christensen collected 17 digs Thursday night to lead Class A power Belgrade to a 3-0 nonconference win over Butte High at the Special Events Center.

The Panthers won 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Kira Mortensen’s nine kills and four blocks led the Butte High attack. Keeley Pochervina paced the Bulldog backcourt defense with 16 digs. Brittney Tierney dug up 11. Also, Bethanney Foley dished up 11 assists.

Butte High is back at home Saturday when they Bulldogs play host to Billings Skyview.
