Bulldogs double dip Sidney for two conference wins in a days work

The Bulldogs rolled into Sidney today for a varsity double header in Columbus, they were able to take care of business and enter back into the win column after getting two blow out wins on the road.

The Bulldogs took care of Sidney in the first game in just 5 innings of play, led behind Trey Hansens 10 K’s 12-0.

Zach Tierney went 2-3 and scored twice, Cayde Stajcar had an RbI, a single, and he also scored twice, Ethan Cunningham knocked in two RBI’s, Derkek Dunmire and Alex Jorgenson both had a single and an RBI, and Sean Ossello finished 1-3 with 2 runs scored.

Game two was a little more of the same for the Bulldogs behind Derek Dunmire’s 7 k’s. The Dogs win this one 13-0 and pick up two conferences wins in a day.

Sean Ossello went 2-3 with 3 RBI’s and scored twice, Cayde Stajcar and Anthony Knott each had RBI, Ethan Cunningham went 3-4 and an RBI, Zach O’Connell hit a single and had a RBI, and Buttes designated hitter Zach Tierney finished 2-4 with an RBI.

The Bulldogs will look to take the field at home for the first time this season, Monday against the Belgrade Panthers @ 3pm.
