Bulldogs and Prigge in Third at State

It was beautiful fall day for golf until the rain came.

Butte high Boys and girls golf teams completed the first of 2 rounds today at Green Meadows Country Club in Helena, Montana. The round was interrupted by rain and lightning for approximately 90 minutes around 1:15pm. The Bulldog Boys hold down 3rd place in the team standings. One stroke ahead of Billings Skyview. Helena Capital sits in first place. Senior golfer Joe McGreevey from Helena Capital shot an impressive 6 under par 65

 

Bulldog Boys 

 Day 1 saw Senior Jack  Prigge card a 1 over 72 to place 3rd. Sophomore Brenner Booth carded a 78 to sit in 10th and Freshman Chase Choquette finished with a 79 to place 20th. Rounding out the boys team is junior Gavin Roesti with an 82 and Jacob Sawyer shot 92.

Bulldog  Girls 

 The girls team were led by Chelsie Lyons and Taylor Sullivan who each shot 107.  Dylan Bartolleti came in with a 108. Rounding out the Girls team included  GusseyLean who shot a 113 and Kate Deshaw with a 120.

After Day 1 the Girls find themselves in 9th place.

The forecast for Friday calls foe more rain and colder temperatures in the high 50s. If you come to watch, bring youe rain gear.
