Butte High’s girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will play back-to-back games to open the Eastern AA Divisional tournament Thursday at the CMR Fieldhouse in Great Falls.

Butte High’s girls are the No. 2 seed. The Bulldogs will take on No. 7 Billings Skyview at 3:30 p.m. Butte High’s boys are the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 2 Bozeman at 5 p.m. (Brackets)

Bulldog tournament games will be broadcast live on KBOW (550 AM, 101.5 FM or online).

The Bulldog girls (14-4, 10-2) swept the Falcons (1-17, 1-11) in the regular season. The Bulldogs won 50-23 Jan. 18 in Butte and 57-34 Feb. 15 in Billings.

Bozeman’s boys (13-5, 8-4) took both games against the Bulldogs (4-14, 1-11) in the regular season. The Hawks won 78-39 Jan. 29 in Bozeman and 61-46 Feb. 19 in Butte.

The top four teams advance to the Class AA State combined tournament, which is March 7-9 at the Butte Civic Center.
