Bulldog Girls Soccer kicked by Bravettes

The Butte High Girls’ Soccer team traveled north to take on the Flathead Bravettes in a Friday evening game.

Although the Bulldogs eventually fell 5-0 to the Bravettes, they played very well during the first half only giving up 2 goals. One of those goals was on a free kick that was tucked just under the cross bar which Coach Steve Shahan noted was a “Great shot, nothing Kaylee LaPier or any of our players could have done.”  “The score does not reflect the very competitive match. The varsity starters came out strong while the JV players subbed well and played extremely hard after their 6 – 1 loss.”

Coach Shahan stated, “We shuffled lineups quite a bit and the girls responded well and worked together well. There was lots of improvement again and our seniors and varsity starters showed great leadership.”

The Bulldog girls are staying in Kalispell to meet the Glacier Wolfpack at 9:00 and 11:00 tomorrow morning.
