Bulldog boys fall at Bozeman

Bozeman’s boys’ basketball team appears to be ready for the postseason.

The Hawks jumped out to a 51-15 halftime lead and beat Butte High 74-31 Tuesday night in an Eastern AA game.

Bennett Hostetler added 10 points for the Hawks, who saw 11 players dent the score book.

Evan Anderson paced the Bulldogs with eight points. Patrick O’Herron Jr. tossed in seven for Butte High, which also got five from Ryson Lovshin, four from Brock Powell, four from Kyle Klapan and three from Kash Kelly.

Butte High, which fell to 2-9 in conference and 4-15 overall will close out the regular season Friday at Billings Senior.

First-place Bozeman improved to 9-2 and 17-2.
