FLORENCE — The Bitterroot Bucs swept a non-conference doubleheader with the Butte Miners Saturday.
Bitterroot won the opener 7-4 before completing the sweep with a 5-0 victory.
The Miners, who fell to 0-7, are off until next Saturday when they play host to the Glacier Twins on Miners Field at 3 Legends Stadium.

Patrick Duchein went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI to lead the Bucs in the opener. Troy Larson and Caden Zaluski each added a double and a single.
Larson pitched into the sixth inning, striking out five for the win. Jesse Sage got four outs for the save.
Ethan Cunningham went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI to lead the Miners. Adan Lee hit a double and a single, and Evan Starr poked a double.
Egan Lester, Eric Hart and Kian O’Neill stroked singles for Butte. Coyt Stajcar and Hunter Hotalen drew walks.
Reece Cox started and pitched into the fifth for the Miners. He struck out three and walked two. Eyston Lakkala finished the game.

Treven Mertins pitched a 2-hit shutout for the Bucs in Game two. He walked three and struck out one.
Andrew Scully and Daniel Barthek doubled for the Bucs, who scored their five runs on four hits.
Hart and Lakkala singled for the Miners. Cox drew a pair of walks, and Cunningham walked once.
Hunter Salcido was the hard-luck loser for the Miners. He struck out three and walked four. Only three runs scored were earned.
