Broncs hold off Butte High boys

BILLINGS — Billings Senior jumped out to a 48-33 halftime lead and held on to beat Butte High 77-71 in an Eastern AA boys’ basketball game Friday night.

The Broncs got 30 points from Jorey Egeland and 26 from Kooper Kidgell as Senior avenged a loss to Butte High at the Butte Civic Center last month.

Dallas Cook scored 27 points to lead Butte High, which plays at Billings Skyview Saturday. Peter Granger scored 11 points for Butte High, while Brian Smith, Killian O’Leary and Corey Farstveet each scored nine.

The Bulldogs also got three from Chanse Kremer, two from Dylan Cook and one from Ryson Lovshin.
