MSU-Billings senior second baseman Brody Miller was nominated for the Little Sullivan Award. Miller is the son of Butte natives Bill and Kriss (Piazzola) Miller of Missoula.
Other finalists for the male award are University of Montana football player Zack Wagenmann, Montana State basketball player Danny Robinson and MSU-Northern wrestler Ethan Hinebauch.
Nominated for the female award are former MSU-Billings basketball player Bobbi Knudsen, Rocky Mountain College volleyball player BrieAnn Geck, MSU track athlete Heather Demorest and Montana basketball player Kellie Rubel.
Miller, a Missoula Sentinel graduate, is the reigning Great Northwestern Athletic Conference co-Player of the Week after a three home run week.
Miller is currently ranked seventh in the GNAC with a .357 batting average. He has 10 doubles, eight home runs and 32 RBIs.
The awards will be handed out at the Montana Amateur Athletic Union Little Sullivan Banquet May 2 at the Holiday Inn Grand Montana Hotel and Convention Center in Billings.
