BOZEMAN — Montana State University hosts its annual Bobcat Basketball Summer Camps beginning in June this summer.
MSU’s Team Jamboree begins on Friday, June 20, and runs until Sunday, June 22. The cost is $650 per resident team (which includes two nights and five meals), and $420 for commuter teams (includes Saturday lunch). Teams are guaranteed five games, situationsl tournaments, clinic opportunities, and coaches socials each evening. All players should be entering grades 9-12.
The High School Elite Camp is June 22-24 for rising high school students, with a cost of $210 (all campers are resident). The camp features individual instruction from Bobcat coaches, skill development, and individual and team competition.
The Skill Development Camp runs June 24-27 for boys entering grades 4-9. The camp features individual instruction from MSU coaches geared toward skill development, particularly basketball fundamentals such has ball-handling and shooting, with individual and group competition. Cost is $310 for residents, $260 for commuters (lunch and dinner included, or $230 without meals).
MSU’s Day Camp, for boys and girls entering grades K-8, runs August 5-8, 9 am to 4 pm daily. The cost is $175, including lunches, and features individual instruction, skill development and age-appropriate competition with an emphasis on fun.
