GREAT FALLS — The Havre Blue Ponies defended their Class A State girls’ basketball title Saturday night.

Kyndall Keller scored 17 points to lead the way as Havre beat Hardin 42-36 in a rematch of last year’s title game at the Four Seasons Arena.

The win capped a 23-1 season for Havre, which went 24-0 last year.

Sadi Filius added 13 points in the title game. Katie Wirtzberger tossed in seven.

Marie Five scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (21-4). Julianna Takes Horse added nine points and 10 boards.
