HAMILTON —The Maroons will have to go the long way to the Class A State tournament.
Corvallis knocked off Butte Central 25-17, 25-22, 25-19 in the undefeated semifinal match at the Southwestern A Divisional volleyball tournament Friday night.
Butte Central will play the winner of the Dillon-Anaconda match at 1 p.m. Saturday. If the Maroons win that match, they’ll clinch a state berth and take on Corvallis in the championship match, needing to beat the Blue Devils twice.
Danee Leary tallied 26 kills and 25 digs to lead the maroons in the loss.
