BILLINGS — Billings West’s boys put on a show Monday at the Billings Invitational golf tournament.

The Golden Bears shot an 8-under-par 280 at the Lake Hills Golf Course to take a commanding lead. Billings Skyview is second at 305.

Four Butte High boys shot 80 or better as the Bulldogs carded a 315 and sit in sixth place.

West’s Joey Moore leads the individual standings after firing a 4-under-par 68. Teammates Garrett Woodin and Caleb Trost are tied for second at 70. West’s Park Elliot is in a three-way tie for fourth place at 72.

Butte High’s Trey Hoagland and Houston Green are two shots out of the top 10 at 78. Isaiah Weldon shot 79, while Eric Fogarty carded an 80. Also, Will Hoagland hit 84.

Bozeman’s girls lead the team standings at 347. Butte High sits in seventh place at 447.

Laurel’s Morgan O’Neil leads the individual race with a 72. That’s two shots better than West’s Hayden Flohr. Kameryn Basye of Bozeman is third at 77.

Butte High’s Alexis Williams is one shot out of the top 10 at 90. Also for Butte High, Sadie Starcevich hit 101, Katelyn Alley shot 120 and Kelliann Neary carded a 134.

The tournament resumes at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the EagleRock Golf Course.
