Billings Central knocks off Polson in Game 2

MISSOULA — Billings Central outscored Polson 15-5 in the fourth quarter, and the Rams knocked off Polson 47-43 in the second game of the Class A State boys’ basketball tournament at Dahlberg Arena. Stat sheet

Jacob Hadley scored a game-high 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds to pace the Rams (14-8), who will take on Havre in Friday’s 6:30 p.m. semifinal. Chrishon Dixon added 11 points. Michael Stanton dished out five assists.

Jeremiah Piegan scored 11 points to lead the Pirates. He was the lone Polson player to reach double figures.

Polson (16-6) heads to Friday’s 12:30 p.m. semifinal game to take on Hamilton.
