The Butte Cobras 43 very bad seconds Friday night.

In that span of game time, the Butte Cobras saw a 4-3 win turn into a 5-4 overtime defeat at the hands of the Helena Bighorns in an NA3HL Frontier Division game at the Butte Community Ice Center. (Stats)

Isaac Ellingson scored 28 seconds into overtime to lift the Bighorns to the win that seemed highly improbably moments earlier.

Bighorn teammate Andrew Deskin tied the game at 4 with a goal with 15 seconds left in regulation. Alex Bailey and Andrew MacCallum assisted on the goal. The goal was the second of the night for Deskin.

Luke Theisen and Gavyn Galloway also scored goals in the win.

Jonathan Schoof, Kyler Garsjo, Zane Cluphf and Nick Bradshaw scored for the Cobras. Jonah Gilbert, Bradly Burden, Jed Morone and Cluphf each registered an assist.

The Cobras are back at home Saturday when they take on the Missoula Junior Bruins at 7:05 p.m.
