The Butte High Girls wrestling team saw their first action over the weekend. Coach Liva had this to say after the conclusion of the first meet, “what a great start to the season. Finished 4th as a team against great competition.”
Butte High had 9 individual placers, Sophie Grunhuvd and Hayla Hoffman took home first place finishes. Teya Edwards and Kaylee Lapier had 3rd place finishes. Makenna Bazo with a 4th place finish, Peyton Liva, Aydin Gonzales, Mattie Stepan 5th place, and Ashlee Wilcox with a 6th place finish.
