Bozeman Gallatin Raptors 0-0/1-0 68 Butte High Bulldogs 0-0/0-1 41
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Gallatin for their season opener, they are without the bulk of their scoring from a season ago and a team that went 10-12 the year prior.
Before the game Friday coach Arnston said this when asked about the up-and-coming season, “right now we are a work in progress, but the girls are working really hard, and I look forward to the season with this team.”
The Lady Dogs fell to Gallatin Friday night 68-41 in their Class AA season opener, unable to keep pace with the hot shooting Raptors.
The Lady Dogs were led by Laura Rosenleaf who led the Dogs in scoring with 8 points, followed by teammates Emmarie Richards and Brityn Stewart who both had 7 points each.
Taylor Drakos tossed in 5, Rian Ferriter and Brooke Groesbeck each had 4, while Eillie Quist, Taylor Brushman, and Asby Lee all had 2 apiece.
The Lady Bulldogs will look to bounce back this week and will host Belgrade for their home Opener Dec. 15th @ 7pm.
