Bentley, Miranda win Butte mixed doubles title

Mavis Bentley and Paul Miranda claimed the City Mixed Doubles tennis tournament title Friday night.

They beat Jennie Reilly and Mark Reilly 6-2, 6-3 in the championship match. The title tilt came after Bentley and Miranda survived a 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 battle against Mary Gail Sullivan and Matthew Hayes in the semifinals.

The Reillys topped Aidan Amtmann and Tyler Reilly in a 6-4, 5-6, 10-8 battle in the other semifinal.
