Bengals take down Bulldogs in three sets

HELENA — Taelyr Krantz pounded 11 kills to lead the way Tuesday night as Helena High knocked off Butte High 3-0 in a non-conference volleyball match.

The Bengals won 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

Abby Dodge tallied eight kills to lead the Bulldogs, who felt o 2-8 on the season. Amanda Pickle added five kills, while Mikayla McGivern blocked five shots and Erica Spear dished out 14 assists. Hannah Amtmann collected a team-leading 15 kills.

The Bulldogs jump back into Eastern AA play Thursday when they travel to Bozeman.
