BILLINGS — Montana Tech’s night on the volleyball court got off to a great start Thursday night.
The Orediggers beat Rocky Mountain College 25-19 in the first game of a Frontier Conference match. The Battlin’ Bears, though, stormed back to win the match with three straight wins, 25-23, 25-21, 25-15.
Ahlea Billis’ 13 kills and 14 digs lead Rocky’s charge.
The Orediggers saw three players reach double digits in kills, with Shersteen Cline leading the way with 14. Sydney Norris added 13, while Korey Krumm killed 13. Freshman Kimmy Kavran collected 39 digs.
The Orediggers play at the University of Great Falls and MSU-Northern next week.
