The Gene Hughes Invitational track meet set for Saturday in Corvallis has been canceled because of poor track conditions.
Butte Central announced that this afternoon. The Maroons were scheduled to open the season at that meet.
Next up on the BC schedule is a meet hosted by Butte High on April 2.
