BC JV routs Stevensville

STEVENSVILLE — Jack Keeley tossed a pair of touchdowns, and Zane Moodry scored twice on defense Monday as Butte Central rolled to a 27-0 junior varsity win over Stevensville.

The Maroons led 14-0 by the end of the first quarter. Keeley found Garrett Button for an 18-yard touchdown. He then hit Owen McPartland for a 32-yard scoring strike. Ethan Andersch booted the PAT after each score.

Moodry made it 20-0 with a 36-yard fumble return in the second quarter. The extra point was blocked.

In the fourth quarter, Moodry capped the scoring by returning a fumble 57 yards for another touchdown. Andersch booted the extra point.

The game was the first of the season for the Maroon JV, which has four games on the schedule. Next up is a game next Monday against Hamilton at the Torger Oaas Field.
