BC golfers fourth in Dillon

DILLON — Butte Central’s boys’ golf team placed fourth at the Dillon Invitational Friday at the Beaverhead Golf Course.

Derek Ralph shot an 81 to lead Butte Central. That was good for seventh place. Also for BC, Cal Hollow hit 86, Jack Gallagher carded a 94, Bryce Noctor shot 103 and Tyler Kump hit 109.

The Maroons hit 364. Belgrade won with 323, while Anaconda took second at 335.

Tyler Ferguson of Belgrade won with a 75, one shot better than Anaconda’s Jackson Wagner. Caleb Stetzner shot 77.

Butte High’s field a JV team. Marcus Yerkcih shot a 93, while Bill Craig hit 94, Tucker Thatcher shot 95, Eric Fogerty hit a 96 and Tanner Robinson shot 98. The JV team’s scores didn’t count in team standings.

Butte High sent its varsity girls’ lineup, and Hailey Hoagland and Shealyn Hafer went 82, 84. Hailey Ogolin shot a 96, while Megan Ingersoll carded a 106 and McKenzee O’Neill shot 121. The Class AA Bulldogs weren’t included in team standings.

Butte Central’s lone golfer, Regan Weldon, shot 106.

Anaconda’s girls won with a 404. Ali Huber’s 92 paced the Copperheads. Livingston’s Cristal Tokash once again won medalist honors at 88.
