STEVENSVILLE — Make it five out of six for the Butte Central girls’ basketball team.

Tricia Joyce once again led the Maroons, scoring 17 points as BC beat Stevensville 38-21 in a Southwestern A game Saturday. The win was the third straight for the Maroons, who improved to 6-6 overall and 5-2 in conference standings.

The Maroons led 7-4 after the first quarter and extended the lead to 21-10 at halftime. After leading 26-16 after three, BC outscored the Yellowjackets 12-5 in the fourth quarter to put the win away.

Sofee Thatcher added seven points for BC, which got four points apiece from Maddie Kump and Emma Keeley, three from Bella Sorini, two from Amira Bolton and one for Shea Davis.

Angel Richards six points paced the Yellowjackets. Maliyah LeCoure scored five.

Butte Central will look for its fourth straight win Thursday when the Maroons head to Belgrade for a non-conference tilt with the Panthers.
