BC girls No. 2, Bulldogs No. 4

Butte Central’s girls’ basketball team remained at No. 2 in the Class A in the latest Associated Press Power Poll. Butte High fell to No. 4.

The top five in the Class A is the same as last week, with Columbia Falls ranked No. 1. Frenchtown is No. 3, followed by Hamilton and Hardin.

Butte High was tied for second two weeks ago. Last week, the Bulldogs were No. 3. Missoula Sentinel is No. 1, followed by Helena Capital and Great Falls High. Kalispell Glacier is No. 5.

On the boys’ side, Butte Central didn’t receive votes. The Maroons finished just out of the top five last week.

The poll is voted on by media members from around the state.
