BC boys’ JV squad wins two

The Butte Central boys’ junior varsity basketball team won a pair of games last week.

The Maroons beat Butte High 48-44 in overtime on Thursday before winning 32-26 at Corvallis on Saturday.

Dylan Goodell scored 10 points to lead three Maroons in double figures in the win over the Bulldogs at the Butte Civic Center. Cal Hollow added 13 points, and Chad Peterson scored 10. Kaemen Richards scored five points in the win, while Wyatt Kingston scored two and Frank Hendrickson netted one. Jimmy Martz, Sean Burt and Conor McGee also contributed in the victory.

Stats were not available for Butte High.

Peterson scored 12 to lead the Maroons in Corvallis. Goodell scored seven, Hollow scored five, Kingston tossed in four and Hendrickson and Burt each netted two. McGee, Seth Powers and Jun Lin also contributed for the Maroons.
