Bazzanella, Bradshaw post impressive times in Boston

BOSTON — Butte runners Michele Bazzanell and Bryan Bradshaw finished the rainy 119th Boston Marathon with impressive times Monday.

Bazzenlla, 41, running in Boston for the first time, completed the 26.2-mile course in 3 hours, 32 minutes, 58 seconds. She finished with an average pace of 8 minutes, 8 seconds per mile.

Caroline Rotich of Kenya won the women’s race in 2:24:55.

On the men’s side, Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia won in 2:09.17. Bradshaw, 47, finished in 3:12:54. The Boston Marathon veteran finished with an average time of 7:22 per mile.
