Baker takes no-no in fifth, takes loss

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Bryon Baker took a no hitter into the fifth inning but took a hard-luck loss Friday night.

The Butte native gave up two hits and three walks in 4.1 as the Kitsap BlueJackets fell 9-2 to the Walla Walla Sweets in a West Coast League game.

The former Butte Miner and sophomore at MSU Billings struck out four batters as his ERA rose to 5.01 on the season.
