MONMOUTH, Ore. — MSU-Billings’ baseball team went on the road and swept a GNAC doubleheader with Western Oregon Sunday.
The Yellowjackets won 10-6 and 18-11 to take three out of four in the weekend four-game series.
Butte native Bryon Baker pitched in relief for MSUB in the opener. The former Butte Miner pitched one and a third innings. He gave up two hits and three earned runs. He struck out two and walked one while facing seven batters.
Baker did not figure into the decision.
The Yellowjackets (25-18 overall, 19-15 conference) are back at home on Thursday and Friday for four games with Saint Martin’s University.
