BREMERTON, Wash. — Butte pitcher Bryon Baker once again sent Kitsap BlueJackets fans home happy.
Baker came into the top of the ninth to pitch in the BlueJackets 6-2 win over the Bellingham Bells Monday night. He walked a batter, got a ground out to third and struck out a batter to end the game.
That last batter was the “burrito batter,” meaning every fan got a free burrito at Taco Bell because of the K. The MSU Billings sophomore threw 18 pitches, 10 of which were strikes, as his ERA fell to 5.47.
The BlueJackets’ West Coast League season comes to an end on Sunday.
