Baker continues scoreless streak in MSUB loss

ST. GEORGE, Utah — Butte native Bryon Baker extended his scoreless streak to 6 and a third innings Sunday with a perfect frame against Dixie State.

Baker pitched the ninth inning of MSU-Billings’ 5-0 loss to the Trail Blazers.

The senior righty struck out one and retired the side on just seven pitches. Through three appearances on the young season, Baker has pitched 6.1 innings, surrendered just two hits and struck out eight batters. He has yet to issue a walk, and his ERA sits at 0.00.

The 2-8 Yellowjackets continue their nonconference schedule next weekend with four games at Western Oregon in Monmouth.
