Badovinac wins 8th Straight Title

December 3, 2022

In the same week his daughter signed to play hoops for another 4 years, dad showed he still has some left in the tank as well. Brett has been winning handball titles since K Mart was out pacing Wal mart. All jokes aside what a truly amazing feat and a big congratulations from us at Butte Sports!

Brett Badovinac won his eighth consecutive and tenth overall title in the Bill Ryan and Al Bersanti Memorial Handball Tournament at the Elks on Saturday. Badovinac defeated Sam Sottosanti 21-9, 21-18 in the final. Earlier in the day Sottosanti defeated Chris Tico of Sand Point, Idaho 21-14, 21-19 in the semifinals. Tico has won numerous age group national championships and played some on the pro tour. Badovinac defeated Marcus Madrazo in the other semifinal.

East Helena’s John Larson won the Super Golden Masters division by going 3-0 in the round robin format.
