Badovinac lights up scoreboard but still not enough

East Helena Vigilantes 62 Butte Central Lady Maroons 45

The Lady Maroons traveled to East Helena tonight, Brooke Badovinac showed that her ankle was a non-issue as she went on yet another scoring tear scoring 33 of the Lady Maroons 45 points.

Aside from one quarter where they only scored 3 points the Lady Maroons showed heart and grit tonight keeping pace with the Vigilantes early on.

Other than Brooke the Lady Maroons are struggling to see much scoring from her supporting cast who only chipped in for an additional 12 points. Mollie Drew was the next leading Maroon with 7 points.

The Lady Maroons are young and will learn with experience, and aside from what the scoreboard says they are improving each game and will find their groove.

Montana Pierson led the way for East Helena with 10 points, followed Natell Goodman, and Janelle Taylor who each had 8 points apiece.

The Lady Maroons will hit the road this Saturday and head to Dillon for a 5:30 matchup against the Beavers.
