Bado wins fifth straight Ryan/Bersanti title

Butte’s Brett Badovinac won the Open Division at the Bill Ryan and Al Bersanti Memorial Handball Tournament Sunday at the Elks.

Badovinac defeated Les Seago of Emigrant 21-17, 10-21, 11-6 in the final match. This marks Badovinac’s fifth consecutive title in the tournament and seventh overall.

Florence’s Wally Page defeated Joe Urbani of Bozeman for the Diamond Masters championship. Butte’s Matt Piazzola captured the A division, and East Helena’s John Larson won the open consolation division.
