Bado wins another handball title

Butte’s Brett Badovinac defended his City Masters handball crown recently at the Elks.

Badovinac beat Mike Hitchcock 21-14, 21-17 in the finals to add another title to his long list of handball accomplishments. Badovinac, who was the runner up in the masters division at state last year, is also the defending champion of the City Singles tournament, which begins next week.

Chris “Squeak” McVeigh claimed third place, beating Don Foley 21-14, 21-9. Cole Salo beat Steve Salo 21-11, 21-15 to win the division for players under 40.
