Bado drops 35 in final game at MAC, Senior Night

The Lady Maroons fell to the Hamilton Broncs tonight 63-46 in their regular season finale in which was also senior night for two amazing young ladies, Brooke Badovinac and Maycee Anderson.

Brooke scored 35 points tonight for the Maroons and looks to continue her senior campaign with a play in game next Thursday. We all know how special the assassin is, and she is a player I will always remember. Brooke and her family are some of the best people you could know, and she was the first athlete in Butte I got to cover when I took over Butte Sports, on her signing day at Tech.

Coach Carter had this to say about Brooke,” she is so dominant offensively and it was so great to see her have an incredible night in her last game at the MAC.”

Maycee is Brookes running mate and the two seniors took on a huge leadership role in a new look Maroon team. Coach had this to say about Maycee,” she has stepped up into a defensive leadership role. She has made such a positive impact on the things we are able to do defensively.”

Other contributors for the Maroons tonight were junior Mollie Drew who had 7 points, Arika Stajcar had 3, and Kathryn Lalicker had 1.

The Lady Maroons will have a play in game next week against East Helena.
