WHITEFISH — Following are the Frontier Conference Athletes of the Week for football and volleyball for the week of March 22.

Volleyball
Attacker of the Week:
Sadie Lott, University of Providence, is a 5-foot-9 freshman middle blocker from Idaho Falls. No. 20 University of Providence went 2-0 in its weekend road series against Montana Tech. The Argos won 3-2 on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday. Lott averaged four kills per set with an attack percentage of .242. She also averaged 3.88 digs per set. Also nominated: Abigail Ellison of MSU-Northern, Taelyr Krantz of Carroll College, Karina Mickelson of Montana Tech and Weiying Wu of Rocky Mountain College.

Defender of the Week: Shania Neubauer, MSU-Northern, is a 5-9 senior outside hitter from Belgrade. MSU-Northern went 1-1 in their weekend home series against (RV) Carroll College. The Skylights lost 3-0 on Friday and won 3-1 on Saturday. Neubauer averaged 7.29 digs per set. Also nominated: Julia Carr of Carroll College, Ayla Embry of Rocky Mountain College, Taylor Henley of Montana Tech and Sacha Legros of the University of Providence.

Setter of the Week: Natalie Hilderman of Rocky Mountain College, is a 6-1 senior setter from Red Lodge. No. 17 Rocky Mountain College went 2-0 in their weekend home series against Montana Western. The Bears won by identical 3-0 scores on Friday and Saturday. Hilderman averaged 12 assists and 2.50 digs per set. Also nominated: Emily Feller of MSU-Northern, McKenna Kaelber of Montana Tech, Cydney Finberg-Roberts of the University of Providence and Ali Williams of Carroll College.

Football
Defensive Player of the Week:
Taeson Hardin, College of Idaho, is a 6-foot, 180-pound junior defensive back from Oak Harbor, Washington. In No. 5 College of Idaho’s 10-3 win over Rocky Mountain College, Hardin recorded six solo tackles, three assisted tackles, two pass breakups, two pass breakups and one forced fumble. His forced fumble led to C of I’s go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. Also nominated: Nate McGree of Carroll College and Chase Van Wyck of Eastern Oregon.

Offensive Player of the Week: Kai Quinn of Eastern Oregon University, is a 6-foot, 220-pound senior quarterback from Pendleton, Ore. In Eastern’s 28-0 opening season win over Carroll College, Quinn was 16 of 28 passing for 216 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 15 yards on six carries. The win was Eastern’s sixth straight over Carroll dating back to 2015. Also nominated: Matthew Burgess of Carroll College.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Jaiden Machuca of Eastern Oregon University, is a 6-foot, 170-pound senior kicker from Parker, Colorado. In Eastern’s 28-0 opening season win over Carroll College, Machuca was a perfect 4 for 4 in PAT’s. His punting average was 46.2 yards per punt. Two punts landed inside the 20-yard line.
