Athlete of the Week, Tocher Lee Butte High multi sport athlete

This weeks’s AOW has now made it on the list in all 4 sports he has participated in this year. He refuses to be mediocre and excels at all he does, that student athlete is none other than Tocher “Mr. Do it all” Lee.

Tocher is a 4 sport athlete at Butte High school and stays very busy. Lee plays all three phases for head coach Arie Grey and the football team, where he is an absolutely electric kick and punt returner, he also hauled in 19 catches as a wideout, reordered 35 tackles  and had 3 interceptions.

In basketball Lee is an absolute menace on the court and will use Mark Jackson’s famous saying, “hand down, man down” and if you lack he will make you pay the price. Lee willed the Bulldogs to the State AA tournament on a last second shot from 35 feet to give the Bulldogs the 3 seed in the west.

Thats not all, Tocher is on the track squad and plays varsity baseball for Jim Leprowse. Lee won the long jump at a track meet with Helena Capital, he leaped 20 feet and 2 inches to win it. Then two days later he was back on the diamond where he has also been an unstoppable force at the plate as the lead off hitter for the Bulldogs.
In their home opener last week again the Dillon Beavers, Lee went 2-3 at the dish with a triple and 3 runs scored.

He’s an incredible young man with sky high potential and he’s only a junior and been playing most varsity sports since his sophomore year.

Keep up the great work Tocher you’re an inspiration to the younger generation and you’re showing them what it takes to be great as an multi sport athlete, and still excelling in the classroom as a student.
