Athlete of the Week: Tocher Lee Butte High Bulldogs

Tocher has made our athlete of the week before, but with he and his teammates season on the line over the weekend Lee showed up and showed out. Tocher has been shooting lights out all year and continued that in the divisional tournament this past weekend. If it’s one thing the Bulldogs have showed us this year is that no lead, they have is safe and no matter what deficit they are in, we can never count them out until the clock shows triple zeros.

More of the same this weekend, after losing a nail biter to the Spartans on a Lincoln Riley jumper, Butte High found themselves in a similar situation Saturday morning. Glacier hit a jumper to go up by one with 13 seconds left. Hudson Luedtke dribbled to the right wing as time was ticking away, with no hesitation Tocher took the ball and spotted up from about 33 feet away and found nothing but nylon with 2.5 seconds left, and Lee thrusted his Bulldogs to the State tournament in Missoula this week.

Butte High 14-7 will face the Galatin Raptors who finished the season 16-5 this Friday at Noon at the University of Montana.

Congratulations to Tocher and the Bulldogs best of luck at state, go get em.
