Rye Doherty has notched another Athlete of the Week his first came during the High School baseball season and his most recent from his performance over the past weekend against the Dillon Cubs.
Rye started game one on the mound pitching 6 inning and striking out 7 batters in a close fought battle, but the Cubs edged Butte 5-3. Rye Came back with vengeance as he drove in 5 runs on 3 hits one of them being a triple to help lead his team to a dominating win 20-3 over the Cubs.
