Bulldogs Earn Rematch With Big Sky for a Trip to Billings
Senior night is supposed to feel special.
For Josh Liston, it felt clutch.
Liston is your Butte Sports Athlete of the Week after a massive performance against Big Sky. The senior guard poured in 13 points and buried four huge triples — and none of them were empty calories.
Every time it looked like Big Sky might stretch the lead… Liston answered.

The Bulldogs were battling momentum swings all night, and each time the Eagles looked ready to pull away, Liston calmly reset the tone with a bucket that snapped the run. He didn’t just score — he changed the rhythm of the game.
He also came up with a big steal at a pivotal moment, flipping defense into offense and igniting the gym.

The Dogs got the win on a night that honored their senior class, and now the reward is one more showdown.
Butte High will host Big Sky this week in a play-in rematch with a trip to the dance in Billings on the line. Win and you’re going to state. Lose and the season’s over.
