The Butte Central Maroons had plenty of firepower in their 35-13 win over Corvallis, and two players stood out above the rest.
GG Fantini stole the show with three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to finish drives and tilt the game in BC’s favor every time he touched the ball. The junior’s big-play presence has become a trademark of this Maroon offense.
Right alongside him, Henly Mansanti continued to shine as one of the program’s promising youngsters. The underclassman tallied two touchdowns of his own, proving he’s more than ready for the Friday night spotlight.
Together, Fantini and Mansanti combined for all five Maroon touchdowns, carrying BC to its third straight win and a 3-1 start to the season. Their performances not only led the way on the scoreboard but also sent a message that this Maroon squad is deep with talent.
For their efforts, GG Fantini and Henly Mansanti have been named the Butte Sports Athletes of the Week.
