This past weekend was a special one for Butte High, the state wrestling tournament was held in Billings this past weekend and Butte more than represented themselves.

Mason Christian, Sophie Grunhuvd, and Kip Pumnea all brought home hardware this weekend. Mason won his second state title while Sophie made it to the finals and brought home a second-place trophy. Kip made the finals as well and brought home 2nd place. These are your Lubedude of MT Athletes of the week, congratulation’s!

Both the boys’ and girls’ programs did tremendous this year and we are beyond proud of you all, the girls sent 4 to the semifinals this weekend and the boys had 2 go as well, what an accomplishment and all around two great programs, you should be so proud. Congratulations!
