Sophomore Brityn Stewart played an incredible game over the weekend in Kalispell. After losing their first game and being pretty quiet on the offensive end, Brityn erupted for 36 points and made school history while doing so. Her 36 points has her sitting behind only Lexie Nelson who scored 39 in 2010.

This performance has earned her the Butte Sports Athlete of the Week award. Great job Brityn.
Although the Lady Dogs didn’t punch a ticket to state, they were fun to watch and always gave it their all. Brityn has a really nice shot and when she gets going there isn’t much that can stop her, and her range is out of this world for such a young player.
We will get to see Brityn suit up for the Dogs the next two season and see what other dynamics she can bring to the team in her coming years.
