Ariel Beck will make her UFC debut Friday night against Shanda Dobson.

Beck, a Deer Lodge native who began her fighting career in Butte, trains mainly in Bozeman.

Details of the 125-pound bout were released today. The fight, which is part of the reality television show The Ultimate Fighter, can be seen on UFC Fight Pass and FS1. The fight will be held at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas.

Beck (4-4) fought on Team Alvarez and was seeded No. 11 in the TUF house. She was eliminated from the bracket on the sixth episode when she was submitted by the No. 6 seed, Montana Stewart. Prior to entering the house, Beck fought for various promotions, including Invicta FC and LFA. Beck has an aggressive style that built around her boxing.

Dobson (2-1) also fought on Team Alvarez. She was the number sixteenth seed in the house — the main reason being her inexperience. With only three fights under her belt, Dobson is relatively new to the fight game. She was eliminated from the TUF bracket on the first episode of the season, falling to the number one seed Roxanne Modafferi. Prior to TUF, Dobson’s sole career loss came to TUF finalist Nicco Montano.

The UFC Weigh-In show begins at 4 p.m. The UFC Prefight Shot starts at 6, and The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale begins at 6.
