GREAT FALLS – Montana Tech volleyball team fell to the University of Great Falls in four sets. The Argos downed the Orediggers 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 20-25.
Montana Tech falls to 1-5 in the Frontier Conference and 11-7 overall.
Shersteen Cline led the Diggers with 22 kills on 0.405 hitting percentage. Sydney Norris had 14 kills on 0.310 hitting percentage.Kimmy Kavran had 17 digs in the match.
“We had a great effort and play from the entire team,” Tech coach Brian Solomon said. “Tonight was simply two teams making a lot of great plays and University of Great Falls just made a few more. It was a match and effort I am very proud of and hopefully one we can continue to build on,” said head coach Brian Solomon.
Tech is back in action Thursday when they play MSU-Northern at 7 p.m. in Havre.
