The University of Providence and Carroll College picked up victories Tuesday night in Frontier Conference men’s basketball quarterfinals.
No. 10 Providence topped Montana Western 95-62, while No. 17 Carroll ran past Rocky Mountain College for an 89-73 win.
Carroll (24-8) will play host to Providence (25-7) in Friday’s semifinals. MSU-Northern (20-11) will travel to Lewis-Clark State College (27-3) after knocking off Montana Tech.

The Argos never trailed, jumping out to a 7-0 lead and never looking back. Providence led 48-28 at halftime and pulled away with a 50-34 second half.
Jake Olson added 15 points, while Brandon Cotton and Jaxon Hashley each scored 14. Zaccheus Darko-Kelly scored 11 points to go along with five assists and four steals.
Cedric Boone scored 16 points to lead the Bulldogs, who close the season at 11-20. James jones scored 12 points, and Connor Burkhart tossed in nine points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Carroll College 89, Rocky Mountain College 73
HELENA — The Saints outscored Rocky 52-35 to overcome a 38-37 halftime deficit. (Stats)
Jovan Sljivancanin scored 20 point and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Saints to their fifth straight win. Dennis Flowers III added 18, while Shamrock Campbell tossed in 14, and Dane Warp scored 15 points.
Warp also dished out nine assists, and Campbell dropped eight dimes. Ifeanyi Okeke added seven points and 14 rebounds.
Grant Wallace and Clayton Ladine scored 18 apiece to lead Rocky, which closed the season at 6-23. Daruis Henderson tossed in 17.
