Anderson says he’s ready to go

According to a published report, Butte native Colt Anderson declared himself ready to go after practicing with his teammates for the first time this year on Monday.

Anderosn, who was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list last week, is a safety and special teams ace for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The former Butte High and University of Montana star underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee in December and had been working out on his own while on the PUP list.

The Eagles haven’t said if Anderson is going to play in Sunday’s opener against the Cleveland Browns.
