Colt Anderson could be in line for his first NFL start.
The Butte native and Philadelphia Eagles safety/special teams ace practiced with the first team Wednesday alongside Nate Allen. Injured safety Kurt Coleman might not be able to play on Sunday, Eagles coach Andy Reid said.
Anderson saw extended time at safety Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
“Getting a chance to practice with the [starters] is huge in terms of getting yourself mentally ready to step in there,” Anderson told CBSSports.com. “If I get a chance to get in there it’ll be a great opportunity and I’m excited about it.”
Anderson, a former University of Montana and Butte High star, is on the Pro Bowl ballot as the Eagles special teams representative. Click here to vote for him.
