Anderson faces Osweiler in Denver

DENVER — Not a whole lot went right for the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Payton Manning and the Denver Broncos rolled to a 52-20 win to improve to 4-0 on the season. Philadelphia fell to 1-3 with their third straight loss.

Montana fans, though, had something to watch late in the game. After playing special teams during the game, Anderson saw time at safety for the Eagles late. He registered one tackle, bringing down rookie running back Montee Ball after a six-yard gain in the fourth quarter.

Anderson played when Denver backup quarterback Brock Osweiler played for the Broncos. The Kalispell native completed 2 of 3 passes for 10 yards. He also ran twice for three yards.

The Eagles play at the winless New York Giants next Sunday.

Was wondering if they may have faced each other in high school.

2004 Colt was a senior when they made the State Basketball and Osweiler might’ve been a freshman.

Do remember Osweiler picking apart our defense a couple times at East and in a playoff game.
